Does Diamond have any bottom scores?

As a high scoring brand, Diamond does not have any bottom scores, but it does have some middle ratings to work on.

One of Diamond’s middle scores is for its Responsible Investment Policy. Diamond’s parent company, Admiral, details its policy in its recent Sustainability Report. The report states that it will not invest in “energy firms deriving 10% revenue from coal or tar sands, and no cluster munitions”. However this is more than The Good Shopping Guide’s 5% threshold for controversial investments, and therefore, Diamond does not receive a top rating in this research criterion.

Diamond’s excellent score is the outcome of a calculation of multiple ethical criteria carried out by The Good Shopping Guide.

In order to improve upon its score, Diamond could work on its middle ratings, including its Responsible Investment Policy. By doing so, it could see its score rise even higher on the Ethical Insurance Ratings Table.

As one of our high scoring insurance companies, if Diamond were to apply for Ethical Accreditation, it would be awarded with our Ethical Mark and Ethical Accreditation.
